Independent of the issuers
Unlike some platforms known in Switzerland, the Luma platform is a pure technology provider that is completely independent of brokers and issuers. This difference is crucial, and has the consequence that Luma does not act as an intermediary in any transaction. Throughout the process, Luma simply provides the technology to connect asset managers with their preferred parties, either directly with issuers or through a specialized provider such as Finanzlab. Luma's unique functionalities
Luma automates the entire process of creating, editing and managing individual transactions, from the pre-trade to the post-trade phase. With Luma, asset managers can create structured products with many different product types, combinations of underlying assets and product variables. Once entered, all products are monitored through an interactive product directory to track issuer responses, documentation and data analysis across all iterations of pricing.
Luma's Lifecycle Manager brings together all the product information needed to monitor each transaction: Documents, event results, event forecasts, educational material, position data, and a product calendar that shows what's coming up in the near future.
