REINFORCEMENT SOUGHT

IGUV is looking for reinforcement for its board and advisory board.

The organization would like to expand its coverage throughout Switzerland and is looking for four people each for French-speaking and Italian-speaking Switzerland. They are looking for movers and shakers who are well networked among independent asset managers and at the same time proactively drive the development of the association. The voluntary commitment of an average of two days per month should provide the new advisory board with a tangible benefit and create a WIN-WIN for all involved.

Are you interested in actively participating as a board member of IGUV ?

As a board member and advisory board member of IGUV , you take on an important role in advancing the association and its members. In order to fulfill this role, certain requirements must be met, which we would like to present to you here.

  • A board or advisory board member should be self-employed or a managing director with strong ties to independent asset managers. Through his active involvement with IGUV , he achieves significant added value or benefit for his company. This personal added value is a basic prerequisite and motivation to get involved with IGUV .
  • In order to put together a versatile competence team, the board is made up of members from different industries. The competencies should ideally complement each other and advance the association and its members.

  • Missing competencies, regional coverage or language barriers are supplemented by the addition of appropriate criteria to the Board. We want to ensure that we are optimally positioned in all areas.

  • As a member of the board or advisory board, you should be proactive and committed and willing to invest an average of 2 days per month in the association. This is the only way we can achieve our goals together.

  • An important rule that we have on the board and advisory board is the 100-day success rule. If an advisory board does not take action within a reasonable time, remains passive or does not add value, no WIN-WIN, they will leave the board. We want to ensure that all members actively contribute to the success of the association.

  • A successful advisory board member who actively promotes the association can be elected to the board by the executive committee after one year and thus receives voting rights. We value the commitment of our members and want to give them the opportunity to continue to rise.

  • As a member of the Board of Directors or Advisory Board, you will receive pro bono compensation for referring members, cooperation partners, services, advertisements and new business ideas. We would like to reward your services appropriately.

  • Participation in our regular Zoom meetings is voluntary, but is definitely recommended for new members for the first six times. Serious preparation with the sample protocol helps to add real value to each meeting. We value the exchange among ourselves and would like to work out solutions together.
