The Swiss Bankers Association has published a new edition of its guidelines for asset management mandates.
The SBA's aim was to adapt the new guidelines to FinSA . Many provisions fall under FILDEG and its implementing ordinance (FIDLEV). To avoid duplication, the SBA has shortened the guidelines.
These guidelines are not recognised by FINMA and have no binding effect; they serve the purpose of voluntary self-regulation.
The new guidelines will enter into force on 1 January 2022, respectively as soon as the asset manager is subject to Art. 106 para. 2 FinSA and FIDLEV.
